United Way UK's special event: ‘Breaking Barriers’

On the 15th November, 2017, United Way UK will host a special event: ‘Breaking Barriers’ 
 
‘The barriers are not erected which can say to aspiring talents and industry, ‘Thus far, and no farther’’, Ludwig van Beethoven 
 
The evening will feature celebrated American pianist Gwendolyn Mok in the beautiful Great Room of the RSA. Ms Mok will be performing and talking about works featured on her latest CD 'Legacy' The Spirit of Beethoven.
 
After the performance, Emmy-nominated producer and philanthropist Bill O’Dowd, will introduce the unique United Way UK Reading Oasis project and how it is breaking barriers to bring education and equality to disadvantaged children in the UK.
 
Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
